Central Iowa | Anyone have a solution to insulate the floor of a new 9520RX John Deere tractor? The heat you can feel on the rubber cab floor with your hand, and even on a 60 degree day the AC is on max cold and fan speed just to be tolerable.
Dealer of course just gives us the classic shoulder shrug on further solutions. They did find a sensor in the cab ceiling that was intermittently showing high and low cab temps, and that was replaced. AC works fine seemingly, air comes out cold. But it stays too warm in the cab anyway.
Beginning to hunt for some double sided foil material that we could install underneath the rubber floor mat.
If anyone has a source or link to some appropriate material please feel free to suggest. | |
