SC Wisconsin | Noticed this heifer limping a while back, seen on the back of her foot it was oozing. It looked like an injury to me. I had just pulled the bull out so I thought maybe she had been in heat and stepped on something while chasing. I cleaned it up and put her in a small pen, kept it dry and well bedded. It doesn't seem like it's healing up at all, still oozing a little and she limpson it pretty good. Could this be foot rot? Ive only ever seen it between the toes and never on the back of a foot like this, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I need to have a vet out in the next couple weeks to do some prep checks, but figured I would ask her first. Definitely doesn't look like a wart to me
Eta- her foot is slightly swollen, but anytime ive dealt with footrot their foot really blows up so I guess I really don't know what to think
