| We have always sold calves off. We have a 2 acre flat lot on top of a slope that I would like to use. It's just hay now. With a blank slate where would a guy start.. would you put up a small monoslope, or gable building? Leave the lot open and start with a commodity shed? We have corn and beans in onsite storage that we can grind. Access to corn stalks, dry grass hay, and willing to do baleage. What kind of perimeter fence would be best for these animals, we just use HT 5-6 wire now. It is a square lot. | |
