Manitoba | wondering about the small hinged adjustable panel or door just behind the fan. on its edge closest to the fan the last about 3/4 " of it is angled. should that angle be pointing up or down? one of our 1680's with the cross flow has it angled up while the other has it angled down. It says nothing about this in my service manual or operators manual ( actually in the operators manual it has the original paddle fan in it) I am referring to the part 21 in the diagram in the parts link. (the panel that lies forward of the hinge)

I think it makes more sense down but many things I think aren't necessarily correct I am told.
