| Have a new generic honda transfer pump with an aluminum pump. When we installed a 2''NPT collar on the pumps outport male threads our collar's threads bottomed out before getting tight. I used blue rectorseal vibration proof compound on the threads. It is now leaking. Any suggestions? I have trouble with plastic fittings leaking on top of our other pumps. I think the only pump on the farm that doesn't leak is a castiron pump. | |
