| This is somewhat related to my thread below. My BIL bought a used planter with this system on it.
It appears to have three valves for turning various sections on and off. It obviously has a product pump. Looks like it has another pump maybe that pumps insecticide into the product pump?
Has a flow control valve. Has a pressure transducer. Had a display to control it all.
I do not see a flow meter anywhere.
Maybe they don't care about the water rate, only the insecticide rate? Maybe the insecticide pump is calibrated enough that no flow meter is needed?
The idea is to use the tank and hypro pump for in-furrow fertilizer. Looks like that might be a bit tough with the central insecticide display? Might be better to add a flow meter and a JD liquid rate controller and run it with that?
Thanks.
