King City, Mo | Anyone selling a retail item from the farm or home nation wide?
We do our popcorn and added blue, red, and mushroom yellow to our offerings this year and expanded to adding 4 different jellies this year as well.
We do Facebook shop, swap and shops, etsy, eBay, agtalk classifieds, some email groups and even mined some email addresses from mass forwarders we received.
We did the Craigslist and posted unique ads all over last winter with good success but this year they are being natzi’s and removing them quicker then I can write them up.
Facebook doesn’t want you to join swap and shops beyond local as i get put in “Facebook jail” for posting in 209 groups even though they let you do it and your ad stays up.....
We’ve got a shop on amazon but haven’t sold a dang thing with it.
I paid for add in local paper and dunno how effective that was.
We got an email last year about spend $50 with google and get $50 of free advertising....forgot to shut it off and was listed for several months at $20/month with not generating sales....

Tried let it go but took my ads down as it’s food and that’s a no no on there....
We’ve been a guest on a talk radio show and talked about our popcorn.
We do snapchat “lawfarmsllc” and snap whatever we’re working on and whatever else. Nobody here seems into Twitter or Instagram.
So brainstorming ideas.......
We got the shipping and growing part done and a good inventory of stuff. I’ve got the ingridents frozen to make more jelly but have 20 cases made already.....
I’ve got a few thousand lbs of popcorn cleaned and ready to go.
Looking at our target market I’ve got male and female customers. Age is 16-95.....I’ve sold to people
At the farm who show up in vehicles and old beater that had to be blown into a DUI device before it would start.
The produce and popcorn has been the best thing going on our farm. Our rowcrops sucked as beans averaged in the 20’s.
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in August. So I’ve been taking her to chemo each week and they aren’t injecting me with chemo but my head isn’t as clear as it usually is and wondering what ideas I’m missing.
