Unfortunately I have no actual pictures from that time. I remember when dad bought it used, in the later sixties. Our first diesel tractor was a new IH 806 , and the Ford mower and conditioner were mounted on it. My brother always operated it, since he was 10 years older than me. I do remember it would often get wrapped with hay around the steel conditioning roll, and have to be cut off with a knife . The rolls never separated like conditioners of today. I think the Ford unit was used until about 1973 when we got an IH 990 mower conditioner , which was a huge improvement.
