I've a good friend that the doctors told him he has one or the other.  He's been coughing for months, and especially after exertion.  He's been to a couple of doctors and had a chest X-ray, which I guess rules out lung problems.

But it just seems odd that this coughing never ceases (not every minute but not a day without some coughing), even while standing, walking or sitting.  I know of others with hiatal hernia which allows stomach acids to come up and they don't have all this coughing.

Do any of you have either acid reflux or GERD that has this same symptom?
