Illinois | I realize that not many families with younger children farm full time. I was going over some of the costs for daycare for two kids and am wondering what things will be like when our third arrives this Thanksgiving. My wife's paycheck pays for health insurance, her retirement and daycare. There's some cash left after those big items there's not much. She works in the Ag sector and loves what she does and who she works with. She has a very short commute and they allow her some flexibility during the busy times. So baby number three will change the financial dynamic again. Those of you whos wife stays home where do you buy health insurance?

My ulterior motive is I would like to have her around more and maybe drive the grain cart:)
Edit I farm with my dad and my mom has taken early retirement. Is there any advantage to trying to get a group policy for all of us as a business? This is just a thought
