Subject: Nitrogen program

ND
Currently strip tilling in the fall putting down approximately 50% of our nitrogen using urea and ams. Coming back at v4 to v6 with a coulter rig and putting down the remainder. Would like to get away from fall nitrogen to start sooner with the strips. Thinking of putting on 10-15 gallons dribbled behind the closing wheels with the planter and sidedress the rest. Don't want to run coulters on the planter as we plant beans with the same one. Wondering if this would be a good system?
