ECIL | I have an apartment for rent that is supposed to be smoke-free. However, the last tenant thought otherwise. I have had the carpet professionally cleaned by Chem-Dry. If the apartment is not opened for a couple days the smoke smell is very noticeable. I need to rid the carpet of the stale cigarette smell. Replacing the carpet and pad is not an option, especially since they are only 3 years old.
Is an ozone machine the best remedy?
