Adairville, KY. | This passed Friday marked the first semi ride for my 5 year old granddaughter. We took a load of wheat to the elevator with no waiting and less than a 50 mile round trip. We are riding in a 84 conventional Freightliner we bought new. The truck is powered by a 3406B Caterpillar engine and louder exhaust than stock. Not straight pipes; sounds nice!
Now go back some 30 years and this would be her dad looking the same way. Even 25 years ago would see her uncle looking the same way. That Cat has a way of purring and putting kids asleep!
