3 To Go

Subject: IVT

Central Illinois
I'm looking to update planter tractors in the next year or two. Currently run a 4955 PS MFWD on our 24-30 Kinze 3800. I'm pretty happy with the combination now but would like to update. Been watching on here regarding comments on IVT/ILS and think the ILS would be a good thing to have?? But is the IVT a must?

My situation is a little unique in that we plant a fair amount of seed corn, with most of it being split plantings. Would the IVT speed up turns or make them easier? (stop, back around, go again) Does it help in overall efficiency?

Looking for input from all angles. Thanks.
