Wabash county,Il | So I picked up meat from a steer that I took to the locker couple weeks ago. Picked up 928 pounds of meat. Figured up my processing bill plus realistic sell value and the meat average is costing me two dollars a pound. I think that's a little cheaper then in the grocery store . Also figured it up that he yielded 63 1/2 percent. Not too bad for a Holstein lineback cross steer that was not pushed nearly as hard as he should have been. | |
