North of London | It has been 24 hours since anyone has heard any news from relatives on Dominica.
Even the local Dominica news outlet has not posted anything since last night.
We get bits of news from other islands nearby but Dominica took a direct hit and has been silent since and all we can do is wait until connections to the world are restored.
Did hear that the hospital in Roseau lost its roof and there is much damage.
I expect our relatives lost their roof but they were going to a concrete storm shelter at a neighbours the last we heard from them.
Category 5 hurricane with winds at 265 km/hour has likely made a bad impact on the island. | |
