Subject: At what price do the Southern States import corn from South America ?

20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
In 2012, didn't corn get so high that some domestic corn was sourced cheaper from South American even after paying shipping?

At what price would American corn be so high our southern states consumers could source it cheaper from out of town?

Hoping someone educated in currency and importing will comment

I'm wondering if this thing really runs to the moon... at what price is the moon and where does holding out further become a bad move?
