NW Iowa | We are replacing all the disks, bearings, and arbor bolt on our front two gangs of our john Deere 512 disk ripper. The john Deere dealer sent a "lock washer" home with us with our other parts. The local mechanics didn't know much about the lock washer. Someone said using the lock washer is new.
We are wondering if others have used the lock washer and any feedback. Also, when putting on The lock washer which direction is best since it's a dome shape(like the disk). See pictures below.
