southern MN | Supposed to get a flu shot through wife's work tomorrow. No big deal, been getting them for a few years now.
So get three pages of forms to fill out.
Basically, for this free flu shot, we need to agree to share all our medical records with anyone who stops in and asks, basically. As well we will pay if the insurance co doesn't. (The insurance co is sponsoring the flu shot deal, as well as supplying the staff that will do it.....)
It's clearly a generic forum.
But, sheez. A simple flu shot. I understand the page on am I allergic to anything, and the page on if anything happens to me it's my own fault and no one else would ever be held responsible.
What's with having to allow all my medical records be given to a central seperate data company, to any collections agency that asks, to any hospital that asks, and on and on. Allow my records to be used for research programs.
It's a flu shot.
