Subject: grain mini contracts

I have traded regular 5000 bu contracts but have no experience with the corn and soybean 1000 bu mini contracts. I typically prefer to hedge soybeans in increments smaller than 5000 bu. so I am considering trading some soybean mini contracts over time. Is there any difference in how they perform? Are there any other positives or negatives to using them? Is the margin money per bushel the same as standard contracts? I would be using them as a hedge and not for speculation so I would not be trying to get in and out all the time.
