North of London | Went to the lake today to check out daughters cottage since she is in Europe for a while.
She left just before rain started and had texts from work while she waited to board her plane that the factory was shutting down because of flooding.
So we drove down in the fog and found sunshine when we got there and this rain gauge on her deck.
Then checked the crawl space under the cottage and noted it had been six inches higher.
