Plan A - Epsom Salt thru sprinkler, via fertigation pump...
OK - nozzled at 750 gpm.....
That's around .193" of water when sprinkler runs at 100%.
One minute after the sprinkler passes, isn't 99% of the water on the ground?
And isn't 99% of whatever was IN the water on the ground, too???
(Sorry if this sounds cheeky....)

Plan B - Local fert dealer sez -
....Go Foliar with Mg Chelate Glucoheptonate...
1 - 2 qt x 3 applications
so that's $3 - $6 / acre / application.
Product is 4% Mg, and MaYbE has a pinch of S ???
So at 10.7# / gal., that figures to .107 - .214 # Mg / acre / application
Pretty expensive Mg.... 1 whole # would cost $28....

Back to Plan A - Epsom salt is 19% Mg.
At 40 cts bulk.... 1 whole # would cost $2.10...... and may have 4.75 X as much S thrown in.
Now 5 1/4# of Epsom Salt, or 1# of Actual Mg, Dissolved 7:1 in water, is >5,000# / circle.
Will that suspend it? Can a plane haul that much?

What happens to any Chelate, in a sprinkler, when hit with 750 gpm of water??? Ok- that is another topic.... I veered.

Plan C - Magnesium hydroxide is 42% Mg... Alibaba sez: Mg(OH)2, (dry) (fob China), is $300/ton. ....For easy figures $500/2000#, so 25 cts/#..... 1 whole # would cost 60 cts.
Now we're gettin somewhere. No S in this recipe, tho.....
With water, it comes to 2,200 # / circle.... Think that will fly better?
(Or mix with milk, to make Milk of Magnesia??)

Plan D - Magnesium Citrate is 5% Mg... or is it 15% Mg... (there seem to be several chemical formulas) and bulk price is 50 cts. / # (Also fob China). (Also dry...)
