North Mo. | spotted some while out and about. Figured ergot like hot humid weather, well looks like it likes just hot weather also. Going to look at a field that has some novel fescue in it see if I can spot any ergot in those seed heads.
On a side note found a fetus this morning near a sorta shade area. Found mother figured she was black and yes she was a black young cow going to be 2nd calf. I drove thru the bunch in the shade yesterday gee hotter than heck no wind and crappy ground. | |
