My sons and I were planting pumpkins this morning and I got to pondering things.... When we plant things ( corn, peas, beans) with a mechanical planter we try to get one seed per hill. When we plant by hand we put two to three seeds per hill. Why do we do this?
Does any one else have any unsolved life mysteries.
