| Jd 9510 combine. Getting a decent amount of grayish blue smoke. Always the same whether hot, cold etc etc. Bought machine used at dealer. Didn't smoke when I bought it, winter time. Now that its summer smokes. Some something apparently has happened in the 6 months its been sitting in the shop. I literally drove it home and parked it, been sitting every since.
I have not seviced it uet, so I will start there. I have checked air cleaner, its good. I have checked turbo, it checked ok. My next stop woulb be fuel injectors. I do not have the tools to test them, So I guess I will have to call deere for that. Are the injectors a do it yourself kind of job? I do not have the specialty tools. I have done many substantial seperator repairs, but not much diesel engine rpair. Hate to call mothere deere to trouble shoot it. I can't believe the engine became worn out and just started blue smoking from aitting in the winter | |
