Subject: Where to find signal from armrest steering button?

Alentejo, Portugal
Asked same question a while ago on precision and got no replies.

Installed a Viper 4 in a Case Puma 155 and would like to be able to press the button on the armrest, not reach up to the screen. Dealer asked and got an answer that it could not be done. Would only work with NavController etc. hooked up to the Canbus network. My gps system is also using a (its own? ) Canbus system to hook up the controller to the steering valve and wheel angle sensor. Also has Isobus connector. So would it be possible to hook up a 3rd party gps to the tractors Canbus system and make the button work? I only need a 12 Volt pulse to make it work according to the guys that installed my gps.

The tractor makes a bleeping sound when I press the button, so it has to be able to be found some place.

Thanks, Dennis
