Subject: Drilling beans into live sod

New Lexington, Ohio
I picked up a new field this year that is old sod. I have our county's no-till drill right now and was going to plant it before spraying to kill the sod. Should I wait until I can kill it, or go ahead and plant today, spray tomorrow? It's a Great Plains drill, if that makes any difference.
