Scranton | Meeting tomorrow morning with agent...time to re-up. I've been buying around $600/a for chemical corn and $1000/ac for organic corn....at around $1/100 for 5% disappearing deductible IIRC. Ends up being $12000ish per year and haven't collected in a decade or better. I used to like my odds when we got hail almost annually...now its starting to remind me of a slot machine....promise of a big payout that never comes(yeah, yeah...most years I don't want to collect...but 2012 and 2013 wouldn't have hurt my feelings to take a pounding).
Whats anyone think?
I'm thinking I'm going to raise the deductible and lower the coverage at best...maybe drop it all. I do carry RA at around 80 %. | |
