Subject: Green corn in killed Rye and off color on Bean stubble

Southwest Michigan
I have a field that was beans and a portion of it was cover cropped with Rye sprayed at about 36 inches. Why does the Corn appear greener in the Rye and off color in the bean stubble this is a side by side. I would think the rye would use the N left behind from the beans. and the corn would suffer. Why does the Bean stubble look off color
