Subject: Spraying roundup on soybeans questions?

ontario
I have got 30 acres of beans in and will finish my last 10 acres on Saturday. They are roundup 2 yield soybeans, There are not any resistant weeds that I know of, Just wondering how long most of you guys leave it before spraying? I will probably put on about 1 litre per acre of round-up and not sure about water volume? I asked my neighbour and he said he puts about 84 liters per acre water so about 22 u.s gallons, That seems high but he always get a pretty good kill. Is their anything else I should add when im spraying? This will be my first time running a sprayer so its a steep learning curve. I guess I will do a pass around the outside then just work my way across and hope I dont miss any spots.

Thanks Nick
