bellevue iowa | I have a guy who is looking at some of my heifer pairs. Said he would want me to feed them till grass . Probably 45 to 60 days. I am feeding 10 lbs corn silage plus free choice grass alfalfa mix hay and free choice oatlage bales. I use 30 cents yardage on custom feeding in yard and thought that would be fair for that end. Wondering on what to figure for feed costs. I figure around $1.20 a day plus yardage. How far off am I . Thanks. I thought I would ask the ag talk pros | |
