SW Ohio | So far all I have ever messed with is Holstein bottle calves and just fed a few Holsteins out to fat. I fenced in 5 acres of pasture last summer and am currently going to the sale barn and trying to buy 4-500 pound colored heifers to run thru the summer and then possibly bring home to finish this winter. I currently have batril, micotil, and nuflor gold on hand from the Holsteins. Is there another antibiotic that I should keep on hand besides them for beef calves? I do plan on vaccinating and boostering a 7-way and bova shield as soon as I bring them home. | |
