Beresford, SD
Doing a little bookwork today. Got a pen of yearlings to market in 30-45 days. Got curious as to what my banker and I put on them back on December 16th when I did my year end. 900 at 1.30...($165/ hd. Less than I paid for them)......120 days later MIGHT get 1400 at 1.35. Cattle feeding is not for the faint at heart. Just wish I would have bought yearlings in December instead of making my own as these were bought back in June as mid 5 weights. Oh well, at least the loss was accounted for last year!
