Subject: GSI TopDry

Carrollton, Il
We've been looking into getting a dryer on our farm for a few years now, but can never seem to make up our mind on what type we like. The other day at the farm show, I saw where GSI had one of their topdry's set up. After talking to the rep there for a while, I started to really like the idea of how it worked. I really like how there are basically no moving parts, and that you get to reclaim all the heat from the already dried corn, and that they've moved the drying fans down onto the ground. I've only ever seen one, and it was a really old one, it seems like almost everyone has a continuous flow instead. So, my question is, what are some good/bad things you can tell me about them? TIA
