I was trying to work through this article by Utterback. I don't fully grasp the rolling back and forth of short hedge positions described in a couple paragraphs toward the end. Nor the "why" of the strategy.
Would anyone be willing to walk through some of this with concrete numbers? Or maybe I need a more KISS plan.
