Southeastern Idaho | Great design here New Holland engineers. Designed the fan cover so it is within a fraction of an inch of the compressor belt (see pic) Belt stretched a bit and hit the cover causing it to shred and take out the fins on the fan. The plastic fins on the fan went through the radiator before I could get it shut down. Did over $1300 worth of damage. After a trip to the grinder and welder with the guard and this won't be a worry again. Anyone with an L series New Holland skid steer with an a.c. compressor might want to check the clearance on the belt. Hope I can save someone else a needless repair bill.
