Subject: Pork Quality

Eastern Ohio
I recently purchased a hog at the county fair to support local 4H. Had it processed at reputable locker, then tried one of the large pork chops. It was tuff. Tried the beacon tougher. Talked to local coop feed guy and before I could finish he said Payleen. Is it the feed additive or the (show) pig genetics that's making this pork uneatable. Should have just made sausage of the whole thing. Funny thing is that one of the parents had letter in paper wanting to know where all the bidders were. How do you explain to these people it's about the end product, not winning.
