If the exchange rate for the Canadian dollar is 1.32792 in the USA, why is it .75306 in Canada? I don't understand the float. When buying equipment up there it looks like I would be better off exchanging for funds in the USA rather than writing a check in Canada for it. Am I understanding correctly?
