Subject: Can this corn outgrow the damage?

St. Henry, Indiana
Corn planted 4-29-2015, in heavy clay notill. Some sidewall smear occurred in parts of the field. Turned hot and dry for the next two weeks. Field is stunted pretty bad. K deficiency showing up due to root pruning. It looks like the crown is forming right at the kernel. Mesocotyl seems to have been shortened. Corn ranges from v2 to v6 in the same field. Sprayed gly sure start and 1/2 lb ATZ after playing. Dk6206 and stewart s600. Will this corn outgrow this? I row cultivated the bad parts and it shows some limited new growth. Getting good rains right now. One positive is that corn is in same growth stage depending on soil type in that location
