that is the question. Missouri is 42 percent planted, Kansas around 57 percent. I'm leaning toward planting if I can do it by July 1. I might go even later than that.

Prevented planting is an option of course but not an attractive one. It looks like giving up and settling for a set amount, an amount that won't pay much more than the cash rent, that don't pay many bills.

I'm sure there are several of you in MO and KS that are making this decision right now, what are your thought processes?
