Subject: Inline ripper

I want to do some inline ripping this fall.. But I was considering moving my shanks on my dmi ripper to 30 inches as I am 36... My tractor I rip with is set on 36 ... Would ripping with a ripper on 30 inches with a trActor set on 36 be a problem? The shank would not be right behind the tire on 30inch but I like the idea of getting more shatter with 30
