Northwest iowa | Anyone out there set up their working facilities with a double alley that merges into a single right ahead of the squeeze chute?
The theory is that a wider opening at the start and having the cattle able to see others ahead and beside them will improve flow. I like how it looks, and will probably build a fully adjustable version with top grills and movable sides to accommodate everything from cows to small calves. I will likely just buy the crowding circle that sits ahead of the double alley. Just wondering what other guys have experience with. | |
