Southeast WI | What's your favorite place to buy? How many of you customize when you buy?
Have always bought from Dell - last laptop 2 years ago for wife was from Best Buy but they had what she needed. Here I do some mapping, lot of database type programs, use Excel and Word, no gaming on the office computer. Use two monitors and sometimes 4 would be handy working on Nutrient Plans, downloading soil data and adding that info to another plan all at the same time. Thought is to go with two widescreen monitors and use a split screen if I need more "windows" open.
So what should I be looking at? Going internet shopping this evening now to see what's out there now as my desktop is 6 years old, has XP which has worked flawlessly for me but it's time to upgrade with support gone and lots of new programs won't work on it soon. Not paid too much attention to new computing power in a few years so really not sure what I need. Not afraid to spend money to get what I need. And this WILL be a desktop.
