Jesup, IA | Last summer I posted some impressive pics of a corn field with double ears. Yes, this is probably a Crop Talk topic, but I submitted the pic as part of a crop size discussion.
Well today we harvested they field. And the old timers had it right, the ears didn't amount to much in the end. A few produced a "nubbin", but most shrank down to nothing.
