N FLA | I have an opportunity for a scholarship to attend any "sustainability" focused conference this winter. I would mostly like to learn more about this integrated approach we try to use with crops and livestock working together. (Although I admit, skin in the game is pretty darn good experience). I have been to a couple National No-Till Conferences, and wanted to try something different. I am thinking about No-Till on the Plains, where Jim Gerrish is speaking who I have heard is good, and several speakers grazing cover crops, and some "Holistic Management" which I'm not sure what that means. I've always heard No-Till on the Plains is a good program.
Question is there anything good out there this winter where they get into integrated farming systems, or other "sustainability" conferences not on my radar? Was wondering if there is much to choose different than the National No till or NTon Plains? I have to identify the program I would like to attend in the scholarship application. | |
