| I have been raising heifer calves for a local dairy for a while now saw this a few times in the past but have seen more of it this fall than ever. The baby calves are getting some swelling inside their cheek, it is not on the jaw. The swelling is some what hard but not hot in anyway I guess. I have reached and felt with my fingers and the only thing I can say is their teeth are like razors back there. Is this what is causing this? The calves are about a month old and starting to eat grain along with milk replacer. | |
