Southern Illinois | This was posted in crop talk as well but I thought the market forum readers would be interested as well. 413 Total acres sold for $3.29M. All buyers were local. A lot of the ground was light soils but still brought a premium. Sale prices are listed below. IMO based on soil types tract 1 was the best piece but didn't bring close to top dollar. I guess no one has looked at corn prices since January. Some of these prices were highest ever for the area. I saw a 60 sell 3 miles away almost 2 years ago when corn was $6.00 and beans were $13 and it only brought $540,000.
