Subject: how to drive my starter fert pumps

I have two Democo lil thumper fertilizer pumps on a 2003 1770 JD 24 row planter. We haven't used the fertilizer pumps in the past and the planter came with them on it and we are looking to get back into putting on starter. We've also converted the planter back to hydraulic drives so the transmissions are gone and we've sold them. So now the dilemma is how should I drive the pumps, I would like to keep it simple and economical and do ground drive but I'm not sure how to do it as we don't have the transmissions and clutches anymore. Also curious if you could rig up a hydraulic motor to drive these pumps? Then I could control the pump through our integra? Or maybe we should just scrap everything and start over? Just looking for ideas, TIA
