NW Ohio | So I am considering an upgrade of my planter for next year and kinda torn what to do. I'm maxed out with my Deere 16 row, but get along well with it now. I have three options, load our existing planter up with Precision's stuff, v-set, v-drive, delta force, etc., even though it's starting to get alot of acres on it. Or I could just get away from Precision and go with a new Deere 16 or 24 row. However, going to 24 would lead to some other challenges and Deere doesn't really offer exactly what I want on a planter right now, which makes me hesitant. I have good support from both Precision and Deere, and I am familiar with the 20/20 monitor as that is what I'm running now. Just looking for some outside input from you guys that are running these units I'm considering. Delta Force is the biggest reason for the lean towards Precision's stuff right now but am concerned about adding weigh pins to every row because I've had quite a few fail on me in the past. TIA | |
