. | The clutch went out yesterday. Driver (not me) tried a bit too hard to shift it into a gear and has apparently jammed the shift forks. It's a standard synchromesh tranny. Anybody know how to unjam it. It can be pulled back to shop building if we can get it out of gear.
Next question, how hard is it to change the clutch? One independent mechanic wouldn't even think about it. It has an independent PTO clutch, don't know if this affects R&R or not. I do have the I&T shop manual for it. | |
